HALF DAY TOUR CITY TOUR.
Tangiers is a major port of entrance from Spain to Morocco . It’s a
bustling port on the North African shore on one of the most
important waterways in the world, the Strait of Gibraltar. The Grand
Socco is the main square (great for a coffee): probably the best
place to start a walking tour of the city. Although the old city is
quite run down, it certainly has a lot of charm. Just wander around
the maze of alleys and find your way to the old Sultans Palace
overlooking the strait of Gibraltar. There are some decent beaches
nearby, both on the Mediterranean side and on the Atlantic coast. |

ONE DAY TOUR CHEFCHAOUEN
Chefchaouen (also known as Chaouen) is hanging like a crescent from
twin mountains, the town is a 15th century relic of the Muslim
civilization of Andalusia. Nestled into a fold of the Rif Mountains
the walls of the town are painted a pale ochre in order to diminish
the intensity of the sun. The roofs are covered with brown tiles and
resemble those found in southern Spain. The alleyways climb to
little squares often crossed by Andalusia arches. A scenic drive to
the ancient village in the mountains as if you had been transported
in a time machine back to past. A charming day out, a true insight
into Morocco not to be missed. |

ONE DAY TOUR ASILAH
Asilah is an enchanting fishing village 40 km south of Tangiers with
its own Medina and fabulous sea views and scenery.
A pleasant trip
to sample yet some more of Morocco's diversity. Asilah feels and
looks like a Spanish town in Andalusia.
It is a lovely, old, very
clean white-washed town on the Atlantic. The town has a very quiet
feel, and makes for a good stop.
The ramparts and towers of the town
give you the impression time has stood still here, and if you walk
down the small alleys
at lunch time you can't help but wonder at the
tranquility. |

ONE DAY TOUR TETOUAN
The architecture of the medina is dominated by an Hispanic
influence, as it was built by Muslim refugees from Spain
in the 15 th
century. The Mellah, or Jewish quarter, is an interesting place with
its tall, square houses and iron balconies with ornately decorated
windows. The fascinating, winding disorder of the Andalusia medina
contrasts well with the Spanish new town. There is a reasonable
beach town 10 km from Tetouan Called Martil . |

Before getting to Meknes have a brief visit of Moulay Idriss, a
Sacred Islamic town then continue to Volubilis (roman ruins) :
a nearby Roman settlement that has slumbered in the Moroccan
countryside for over 2,000 years. Dating back to Pre Roman times
Volubilis was a thriving city, complete with a forum, a capitol,
basilica, triumphal arch, oil presses and spas. Settled on what was
probably a Carthaginian city date from the third century
B.C.Volubilis was a central administrative city for this part of
Roman Africa. After we head to Meknes was founded in the 11th
century and was chosen by Moulay Ismaïl in 1672 as capital of his
empire. Moulay Ismaïl's creation was to be much talked of in the

markets, and unique arts and crafts point to layers of history
compacted and superimposed in every corner of the city. Back to
