Tangier retains its powerful charm to this day… From the previously nefarious alleys in the Petit Socco area to the many café terraces which are more than ever avant-gardist. To remember To visit Tangier is to go back in time while remaining avant-gardist.

Tangiers is a major port of entrance from Spain to Morocco . It’s a bustling port on the North African shore on one of the most important waterways in the world, the Strait of Gibraltar. The Grand Socco is the main square (great for a coffee): probably the best place to start a walking tour of the city. Although the old city is quite run down, it certainly has a lot of charm. Just wander around the maze of alleys and find your way to the old Sultans Palace overlooking the strait of Gibraltar. There are some decent beaches nearby, both on the Mediterranean side and on the Atlantic coast.
